Amit Agarwal is a finance professional with over 32 years of extensive experience in Steel, Aviation and Energy sectors, having worked as a CFO of leading organizations, across various geographies. He has also been a partner with the CEOs to run the business efficiently and ensure the value creation within the regulatory framework for the shareholder. He has a proven track record of working with large corporations facilitating a total turnaround of business. 
He joined us in 2020, from JSW Steel Coated Products Limited a Subsidiary of JSW Group. There, as a Chief Executive Officer, he was responsible for leading business strategy. Prior to that, he was associated with Jet Airways, As a Deputy CEO & CFO. He led various initiatives which have resulted in improvement of cash flow, increase in market cap, increase in Cash Surplus & unlocking business potential. At Suzlon Energy Limited as a CFO he has actively played a pivotal role in financial realignment of the business and  driving sustainable value creation. He was also instrumental for establishing & leading various financial objectives. At Essar Group, in various financial leadership roles, he worked in North America, Canada and India markets. He was  functionally responsible for managing Finance & Account cluster, Company secretary, Legal, Media & Communication and Corporate Planning. Prior to Essar Group, he has also worked in ArcelorMittal in the Long Carbon Europe segment. He has worked in several countries in North America and Europe during his stint as CFO handling their Corporate Finance, Treasury management, complex business restructuring, business development etc.He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also done his Cost Accountancy from ICWA. Apart from these, he has also done a CFO – Strategic partner , executive education from The Wharton School, Pennsylvania
